When I came to faith in 1976 I didn’t know what Christian music was. I’d heard a few hymns along the way but nothing like what was come to be known as “Jesus People Music.” This is the music I grew up with in the faith. I hope you enjoy the songs I have chosen from that era.  Allan

  1. Good stuff here , Alan… several artists that I still listen to occasionally! Lots of Second Chapter, a little Larry Norman, still got some Randy….these were some of the pioneers.
    I’ve been checking out some of the newest Christian artists, and I have to be really choosy. They all sound pretty much alike these days – very radio-friendly, little content. Hard to find an actual artist anymore. But they are out there. (Andrew Peterson comes to mind…)
